Moist weather were expected to linger along much of Queensland's east this coming days as a weather pattern continued to attract humidity against the coast.

Medical authorities cautioned that there was an greater possibility of epidemic thunderstorm asthma across the northern rural areas, especially given the ongoing climate situation.
